No: Vigelandsparken lå stille under et tynt lag av snø.
En: Vigelandsparken lay quietly under a thin layer of snow.

No: Himmelen var grå, men til og med de dystre skyene kunne ikke skjule skjønnheten i de mange statuene.
En: The sky was gray, but even the gloomy clouds couldn't hide the beauty of the many statues.

No: Turister gikk rundt med kameraer, ivrige etter å fange noen minner av parken.
En: Tourists walked around with cameras, eager to capture some memories of the park.

No: Blant dem gikk Lars, klønete og morsom i sitt snømannskostyme.
En: Among them walked Lars, clumsy and funny in his snowman costume.

No: Han holdt et stort kamera og hadde en plan om å lage årets beste julekort.
En: He held a large camera and had a plan to make the best Christmas card of the year.

No: Lars elsket julen.
En: Lars loved Christmas.

No: Han hadde bestemt seg for at årets kort skulle være noe helt spesielt.

No: "Eva og Sven, hans lojale venner, lo og ristet på hodet.
En: Eva and Sven, his loyal friends, laughed and shook their heads.

No: "Du er sprø, Lars," sa Sven med et smil.
En: "You're crazy, Lars," said Sven with a smile.

No: "Men vi skal hjelpe deg.
En: "But we'll help you."

No: "Lars så seg rundt, håpet at en idé ville komme til ham.
En: Lars looked around, hoping that an idea would come to him.

No: Statuene så ut til å stirre tilbake, nesten som om de også moret seg over hans skumle situasjon.
En: The statues seemed to stare back, almost as if they were also amused by his tricky situation.

No: Til slutt fikk Lars øye på en sokkel uten statue.
En: Finally, Lars spotted a pedestal without a statue.

No: Kanskje, tenkte han, han kunne stå der og få det perfekte bildet?
En: Maybe, he thought, he could stand there and get the perfect picture?

No: "Kan dere løfte meg opp dit?
En: "Can you lift me up there?"

No: " spurte han Eva og Sven.
En: he asked Eva and Sven.

No: "Er du sikker?
En: "Are you sure?"

No: " spurte Eva skeptisk.
En: asked Eva skeptically.

No: "Det ser farlig ut.
En: "It looks dangerous."

No: ""Det vil bli perfekt!
En: "It will be perfect!"

No: " insisterte Lars.
En: insisted Lars.

No: Med mye latter og fomling fikk de løftet Lars opp på sokkelen.
En: With much laughter and fumbling, they managed to lift Lars onto the pedestal.

No: Han stilte opp kameraet på et stativ og satte timeren.
En: He set up the camera on a tripod and set the timer.

No: "Kom nærmere!
En: "Come closer!"

No: " ropte Lars til vennene sine.
En: shouted Lars to his friends.
