En: Mateus looked out the window of the bus, seeing the dry landscape and the strong sun of the northeastern sertão.
Pb: Fazia muitos anos que ele não voltava para sua cidade natal, Santa Luzia, um lugar pequeno, mas famoso por seu mercado de Natal vibrante.
En: It had been many years since he last returned to his hometown, Santa Luzia, a small place but famous for its vibrant Christmas market.
Pb: Durante o mês de dezembro, o lugar se enchia de luzes coloridas e cheiros deliciosos de rabanada e vatapá, presentes em toda parte.
