Sl: Ljubljana je bila pokrita s snegom.
En: Ljubljana was covered in snow.

Sl: Zvonovi so pozvanjali na mestni stolp in ulice so bile polne nasmejanih obrazov.
En: The bells were ringing on the city tower and the streets were full of smiling faces.

Sl: Zoran je počasi hodil po osrednji tržnici.
En: Zoran was slowly walking through the central market.

Sl: V rokah je držal seznam stvari za praznike.
En: In his hands, he held a list of things for the holidays.

Sl: Njegova sestra si je želela nekaj posebnega za božič, in Zoran je hotel najti popolno darilo.
