On this episode of the W.W.A.A. Podcast, The host, Kristy Mickelsen is joined by her guest Jennifer McGee. Jennifer, is an artist, author, speaker, and special needs parent. Her special needs child Isahiah came to live with her when he was 15 years old. During her time getting closer to Isahiah and adapting to her new reality, she realized that there is asignificant need for education and advocacy for people like him.
This inspired her to write a children's book titled "Izzy Can't Talk", to help create a bridge of understanding between non-verbal persons and their families.
