Downtown Surveillance MOU Deferred. Plus, Is Dating in Nashville a Dumpster Fire?

Published 8 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

The MOU granting $15M to the Nashville Downtown Partnership to purchase surveillance technology (among other things) has once again been deferred by Metro Council, with support from a surprising source. WNXP’s morning host Celia Gregory joins host Marie Cecile Anderson and executive producer Whitney Pastorek to share how the proposed surveillance could impact members of our city’s music community. Plus, Elon’s tunnel has been environmentally assessed, the mayor isn’t on board with the idea to put affordable housing at the Fairgrounds, and dating in Nashville is a dumpster fire. Don’t forget to check out WNXP’s top 30 albums of the year, AND their favorite Nashville albums of 2025.
