Cy: Roedd hi'n aeaf yng Nghaerdydd, a'r farchnad Nadolig yn llawn o bethau syfrdanol.
En: It was winter in Caerdydd, and the Christmas market was full of dazzling things.
Cy: Roedd y goleuadau'n disgleirio yn y nos, a'r arogl gwin mŵl wedi llenwi'r awyr.
En: The lights were sparkling at night, and the scent of mulled wine filled the air.
Cy: Wrth i bobl symud rhwng y stondinau, roedd yna deimlad o lawenydd yn lledu dros y rhewllyd tir.
En: As people moved between the stalls, there was a feeling of joy spreading over the frosty ground.
Cy: Ymhlith y torfeydd sawl dydd, roedd Gareth, penseiri tawel, yn crwydro rhwng y stondinau yn edrych am anrheg arbennig ar gyfer ei fam.
En: Among the crowds on several days was Gareth, a quiet architect, wandering between the stalls looking for a special gift for his mother.
Cy: Roedd yn gobeithio hefyd weld rhywun arbennig yn y dirgelwch Nadoligaidd.
En: He also hoped to see someone special in the Christmas mystery.
Cy: Roedd ei galon yn ysgafn wrth ddal llawlyfr o addurniadau unigryw a gwneud sylwadau drwy'r gorwel.
En: His heart was light as he held a booklet of unique decorations and made notes across the horizon.
Cy: Ar ochr arall y farchnad, roedd Rhian, athrawes ysgol gynradd, yn mwynhau'r tymor a'i seiniau.
En: On the other side of the market, Rhian, a primary school teacher, was enjoying the season and its sounds.
Cy: Roedd ei chalon yn llawn llawenydd wrth i blant ymdrochi yn y neiges.
En: Her heart was full of joy as children played in the snow.
Cy: Roedd hi'n awyddus i rannu ei brwdfrydedd gyda rhywun, rhywun a allai rannu ei chariad at Nadolig.
En: She was eager to share her enthusiasm with someone, someone who could share her love for Christmas.
Cy: Pan darodd Gareth ar stondin gyda addurniadau llaw-weithredig, aerglosodd Rhian hefyd gerllaw.
En: When Gareth stumbled upon a stall with handcrafted decorations, Rhian also approached nearby.
Cy: Byddiodd ei llygad ar yr un dolingen, addurn lliwgar wedi creu â llaw, sy'n fel atseinadur ei plentyndod.
En: Her eye caught the same bauble, a colorful, handmade decoration that echoed her childhood.
Cy: Wrth iddynt gyrraedd am yr un peth, cyfarfu eu llygaid, ac roedd ei hesgus perffaith i ddechrau sgwrs.
En: As they reached for the same item, their eyes met, and it was the perfect excuse to start a conversation.
Cy: "Mae'r addurniadau yma'n wirioneddol arbennig," meddai Gareth yn swil.
En: "These decorations are truly special," said Gareth shyly.
Cy: Roedd Rhian yn gwenu, "Oes, maen nhw'n hyfryd.
En: Rhian smiled, "Yes, they are lovely.
Cy: Bob tro dwi'n gweld un fel hyn, mae'n dod â chof teuluol i mi.
En: Every time I see one like this, it brings back family memories for me."
Cy: "Roedd y sgwrs yn dechrau llifo.
En: The conversation began to flow.
Cy: Rhoddodd Rhian awgrymiadau i Gareth ar stondinau y dylai ymweld â nhw, tra roedd Gareth yn cynnig i ddal y prynu drosti pan fyddai ei dwylo'n brysur.
En: Rhian gave Gareth suggestions on stalls he should visit, while Gareth offered to hold her purchases when her hands were busy.
Cy: Yna daethon nhw ar draws traddodiad Nadoligaidd eu plentyndod: trisglenni cân a adleisiwyd yn yr awyr, yn arwain at hafal o chwerthin a chyswllt dwfn.
