Sl: Žan je stal pred Ljubljanskim gradom, kjer je vse belila mehka zimska odeja.
En: Žan stood in front of Ljubljanski grad, where everything was blanketed by a soft winter cover.
Sl: Visoko na hribu je grad gledal na praznično okrašeno mesto spodaj.
En: High on the hill, the castle watched over the festively decorated city below.
Sl: Lučke so žarele, drevesca so svetila, v zraku je bil vonj po kuhanem vinu in cimetovih piškotih.
En: Lights glowed, small trees lit up, and the air was filled with the scent of mulled wine and cinnamon cookies.
Sl: Zima je tukaj res čarobna, je pomislil Žan, medtem ko je sneg škripal pod njegovimi koraki.
En: Winter here is truly magical, Žan thought as the snow crunched under his steps.
Sl: Žan je prišel v Slovenijo prvič.
En: Žan had come to Slovenija for the first time.

En: During the day, Žan also met Bojan, who was selling homemade products there.
Sl: Bojan ga je povabil na kuhano vino in piškote.
En: Bojan invited him for mulled wine and cookies.
Sl: "Nisi od tu, kajne?
En: "You're not from around here, are you?"

En: Bojan asked.
Sl: Žan je pritrdil in mu razložil svojo zgodbo.
En: Žan confirmed and explained his story.
Sl: Bojan je z nasmehom rekel: "Ne skrbi, vsi smo tu nekje povezani.
En: Bojan smiled and said, "Don't worry, we are all connected here in some way."
Sl: "Zvečer je bil v gradu božični dogodek.
En: In the evening, there was a Christmas event at the castle.
Sl: Tam je bilo veliko ljudi, smeh in glasba.
En: There were many people, laughter, and music.
Sl: Vsak kotiček je bil okrašen z lučkami in lepimi okraski.
En: Every corner was decorated with lights and beautiful ornaments.
Sl: Žan se je sprva počutil sam, a nato je Nina stopila k njemu.
En: At first, Žan felt alone, but then Nina approached him.
Sl: "Pridi, poslušaj to zgodbo," je rekla.
En: "Come, listen to this story," she said.
Sl: Starejši gospod je pripovedoval legendo o gradu in starih božičnih običajih.
En: An elderly gentleman was telling a legend about the castle and old Christmas customs.
