Join us as Ben, Dessy, Tiago, and Rose cover the inspirations behind Ace Attorney! Except, this time it's something inspired by the inspirations we've covered so far! Wake Up Dead Man is the latest Benoit Blanc mystery film from Rian Johnson, of Knives Out fame. This time going for a dark, gothic mystery bathed in religion, Blanc assists Father Jud who's (of course) been accused of murder. A big, stellar cast, excellent cinematography, and plenty of humor keep us entertained this time around, although we do have a few critiques as well! We dive into just how Catholic this movie is, the excellent performances from Josh O'Connor and Daniel Craig, and we even have our usual diversions to talk about another movie or two.
