Josh Conerly's Rookie Year: Strengths & Weaknesses

Josh Conerly Jr., the Washington Commanders rookie right tackle, has had a rollercoaster season, much like his team. Drafted 29th overall, hes started every game, learning a new position and working on strength. Despite concerns about his play strength, hes earned praise for his work ethic and improvement. However, his recent performance against the Giants showed room for growth, with a lower pass blocking grade and penalties. Former coach Jay Gruden noted his struggles in pass protection and below-average performance in the running game. Despite criticisms, Gruden remains optimistic, believing Conerlys body will develop and hell improve with time and mentorship from Laremy Tunsil.
