89. Ben Quad: Oklahoma Emo, Star Wars, LOTR, Wisher and More | Emo Kids Anonymous
Description
Finally, our interview with Ben Quad is here! We were lucky enough to be joined by the whole band and despite some slight technical difficulties, we had a helluva time! In this engaging conversation, Ben Quad discuss their creative process, the significance of pop culture in their song titles, and the shift towards a more hopeful tone in emo music. They emphasize the importance of community and collaboration within the music scene, while also reflecting on the evolution of emo and its influence on their sound. The band shares their favorite tracks from their latest album Wisher, out now courtesy of Pure Noise Records. And don't worry everyone, we asked the important questions! How would Anakin have fared if he stuck to Pod Racing? What's the bands favorite film? What's their mount rushmore of butt rock? All that and more in our interview with Ben Quad.
