No: Nordlyset danset over Geirangerfjord.
En: The northern lights danced over the Geirangerfjord.
No: Det var julaften.
En: It was Christmas Eve.
No: Lars, Ingrid, og Knut sto ved starten av stien.
En: Lars, Ingrid, and Knut stood at the start of the trail.
No: De ønsket å nå utsiktspunktet ved fjorden.
En: They wanted to reach the viewpoint by the fjord.
No: Det var vinter, og snøen lå tykk over landskapet.
En: It was winter, and the snow lay thick over the landscape.
No: Lars, alltid klar for eventyr, ledet an.
