Paul Wiggin, NFL Legend, Passes Away at 91

Paul Wiggin, former Cleveland Browns legend and defensive end, passed away at ninety-one. He spent eleven years with the Browns, earning two Pro Bowl nods and contributing to their 1964 NFL Championship. Wiggin, drafted in the sixth round, played in 146 consecutive games, recording 60.5 sacks, 19 fumble recoveries, and 3 interceptions. After retiring, he coached for the 49ers, Chiefs, Stanford, and Vikings, mentoring future Hall of Famers and earning the 2022 Bud Grant Distinguished Minnesotan Award. Wiggins college career at Stanford earned him induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
