Lt: Žiema buvo šalta, kaip visad Vilniuje, ir šventinės šviesos jau mirgaliavo ant gatvės medžių.
En: Winter was cold, as always in Vilnius, and the holiday lights were already twinkling on the street trees.
Lt: Rūta sėdėjo savo mažame, jaukiame, bet daiktų prigrūstame kambaryje.
En: Rūta sat in her small, cozy, but cluttered room.
Lt: Ji laikė savo mėgstamą mikrofoną -- iš tiesų tai buvo tik senas plaukų šepetys, bet jai šis mažas triukas padėdavo įsijausti.
