"Chatting with Past Lynda Heron on INSIGHT, we’re looking at the prayer of Jabez. Jabez’s name meant pain. Throughout his life, he suffered ridicule because of his name. Then one day, he called on God for deliverance: “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” And God answered his prayer. Following Jabez’s example, we realise we need to push through in prayer."
