Bg: В снеговития град Велико Търново, навечерието на Нова година се усещаше навсякъде.
En: In the snowy city of Veliko Tarnovo, the eve of the New Year was felt everywhere.
Bg: Старите калдъръмени улички блестяха под светлината на лампите, а снежинките се спускаха леко като в танц.
En: The old cobblestone streets glistened under the lamplight, and snowflakes gently descended like in a dance.
Bg: Георги и Калина вървяха по улицата към дома си.
En: Georgi and Kalina walked down the street toward their home.
Bg: Въздухът беше студен, но с аромат на печени ядки от уличната сергия на ъгъла.
En: The air was cold, but carried the aroma of roasted nuts from the street stall at the corner.
Bg: Георги се тревожеше.
En: Georgi was worried.
Bg: Родителите им бяха решили да продадат семейния дом, където двамата с Калина бяха изживели детството си.

Bg: „Не съм сигурен дали можем да се разделим с този дом.“
En: "I'm not sure if we can part with this home."
Bg: Калина го погледна меко.
En: Kalina looked at him gently.
Bg: „Знам, Георги.
En: "I know, Georgi.
Bg: Но не мислиш ли, че нашите заслужават по-лесен живот?
En: But don't you think our parents deserve an easier life?
Bg: Къщата е голяма и те нямат нужда от толкова пространство.“
En: The house is big, and they don't need so much space."
Bg: Георги поклати глава.
En: Georgi shook his head.
Bg: „Но тук са всичките ни спомени,“ настоя той.
En: "But all our memories are here," he insisted.
Bg: „Това е мястото, където израстнахме.“
En: "This is the place where we grew up."
Bg: Тежката дръжка на старата врата към задния двор изпука, докато Калина я отвори.
En: The heavy handle of the old door to the backyard creaked as Kalina opened it.
Bg: Там, в студения декемврийски въздух, стоеше люлката им от детството.
En: There, in the cold December air, stood their childhood swing.
Bg: Някога бе цветна и оживена — сега, след годините, беше просто прегоряла дървена конструкция.
En: It was once colorful and lively—now, after the years, it was just a weathered wooden structure.
