En: The cold winter sun cast its pale rays on the mountain village.
Hr: Snijeg je tiho prekrivao krovove, a svježi miris borovine i kolačića širio se zrakom.
En: Snow quietly covered the roofs, and the fresh scent of pine and cookies filled the air.
En: At the spiritual retreat, Ana stepped out of her cabin, taking a deep breath.

En: "Ana, today we'll go to the market.
Hr: Bit će to zabavno," rekao je ohrabrujući je.
En: It'll be fun," he said, encouraging her.
En: Ana nodded, but her thoughts were far away.
En: She wanted to find the perfect gift for her mother, with whom she hadn't spoken for a long time.

En: People were talking, laughing, and the noise was too much.

Hr: "Strah me.
En: "I'm scared.
Hr: Ne želim da me mama odbaci.
En: I don't want my mom to reject me.
En: But I have to tell her that I care," Ana admitted, struggling with her emotions.
Hr: Luka ju je pogledao suosjećajno.
En: Luka looked at her sympathetically.
Hr: "Ti si hrabra, Ana.
En: "You're brave, Ana.
Hr: Već si odlučila napraviti prvi korak.
En: You've already decided to take the first step.
Hr: To je važno.
En: That's important."
En: As they talked, Ivana, a vendor from a warm stall, overheard their conversation.
Hr: "Oprostite," rekla je pristupivši im.
En: "Excuse me," she said, approaching them.
