Colts Place Jones on IR, Sign Mitchell & Pride
The Indianapolis Colts have placed quarterback Daniel Jones on injured reserve due to a torn Achilles tendon, ending his season. Defensive back Chris Lammons, who had been a valuable contributor, has also been moved to injured reserve with a foot injury. The team has called up Cameron Mitchell from the practice squad to fill Lammons spot and signed Troy Pride Junior to the practice squad. The roster changes will be closely watched as the Colts continue their season.
