The family of Alvin Lovelace is pleading for a pardon after he was sentenced to life in prison for stealing less than $25 from a 7-Eleven. He was charged with aggravated robbery back in 1981, but his family insists there was no weapon or violence involved. He initially rejected a plea deal, and ended up with a life sentence. Alvin has been in prison for 44 years.
