To answer who is an author under copyright law, an author is the person who creates an original work, like a book, song, or painting & fixes it in a tangible form such as writing it down or record it.

The work needs to show some creativity, but it doesn’t have to be highly innovative. For example, a novel or a photograph can be copyrighted, but titles or short phrases usually can’t. Usually, the author owns the copyright, but there are exceptions. If the work is made as part of a job (called a “work made for hire”), the employer is considered the author and owns the copyright. Authors can also transfer ownership, like selling rights to a publisher. For joint works, like a song written by two people, both are co-authors and share ownership. For derivative works, like a movie based on a book, the new creator can copyright only the original parts they added, not the original book.

It is like a good strategy to thrive and develop on our own through different ways keeps us to be active and alert in our field of activity as a writer and gives an inspiration with high power to mention about our ideas in different subjects will give us great satisfaction. Satisfaction plays crucial role in this respect. A satisfied person is better than a successful individual. Success is a journey not the destination. Successful people will think differently act efficiently. Effectiveness is key for everything. It generates heat and create the power within. As rightly mentioned by Gunnar Habitz as an author we should do our job with good intention to share our views with others will help us to learn more and more from others. It invites suggestions and recommendations given by various people will allow us to grasp and gives a kick to grow in our way. I strongly believe LinkedIn is one of the best ways to keep in touch with like minded and many people to keep an eye and shows the path to generate creativity. It gives scope to interact on different subjects to express and invite others to learn more and more from them. It has given me great opportunity to convert my blog articles into books and turned me as an author today. I am glad to share that I have completed five books as of now. We should start somewhere to enter and exhibit our skills in different platforms like this. Then only we can grow and develop on our own. It motivates us to reach the next level in reality. It keeps on shining like a star in the sky. The sky has no limit! Opportunities are plenty. It is in our hands to utilize and keep open the doors to invite them. Our effort is our valuable asset. Effort will never go waste. It has its own value. Keep on doing. Be optimistic! Positive attitude makes us to reach positive people to acquire positive thoughts and attain the positive results.
