“Travel once I’ve saved enough” is becoming “Travel while doing Uber Eats”
Description
In today’s episode, I reflect on a small moment that made me rethink how we work and travel. I saw a rider with a touring bike full of camping gear — and an Uber Eats backpack.
It reminded me that younger generations are no longer separating “work” and “travel” the way many of us once did. Instead of working hard, saving money, and traveling only after, they earn while they move. Their life is no longer serial, but parallel.
It made me realize how much freedom we actually have in designing our own way of living. Work doesn’t always have to fit into a traditional shape. With a bit of creativity, the line between “living” and “working” can be much softer than we imagine.
Even at 47, I’m reminded that the world — and our lives — can still be updated.
