In John 1:1-5 we learn three fundamental truths about Jesus Christ that elevate our view of Him and give us a right theology of Christmas.
1. Jesus is God. (v.1-2)
A. Being God, He is pre-existent.
B. Being God, He is the 2nd Person of the Trinity.
C. Being God, He is fully God.
2. Jesus is creator. (v.3-4a)
A. He created everything. (v.3)
B. He sustains everything. (v.4a)
3. Jesus is revealer. (v.4b-5)
A. His life reveals. (v.4b)
B. His life conquers. (V.5)
