Description

This episode reflects on a simple question my daughter asked:
“Why do adults tell us to think for ourselves, then reject what we think?”

It led me to realize that a fulfilling life often depends on how much of our own time we can protect.
We all have only 24 hours, yet many of us give those hours away to worrying about how others see us.

Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is allow ourselves to change—even if someone says, “You’ve changed” with a hint of disapproval.
That moment can be the beginning of living on your own terms rather than inside other people’s expectations.

True growth can feel lonely, but it’s also how we reclaim our time and our life.
How we spend our hours, and who we spend them for—that’s what really shapes us.
