Sl: Sneg je pokrival trg ob Blejskem jezeru, kjer se je odvijal božični sejem.
En: Snow covered the square by Blejsko jezero, where the Christmas market was taking place.
Sl: Lučke so žarele povsod naokoli, dišalo je po kuhanem vinu in pečenem kostanju.
En: Lights glowed everywhere around, and the aroma of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts filled the air.
Sl: Mateja je stopala med stojnicami in gledala lepo okrašene izdelke.
En: Mateja walked among the stalls, looking at the beautifully decorated items.
Sl: Bila je umetnica doma iz Bleda, ampak ta veseli čas ji je prinašal občutek osamljenosti.
En: She was an artist from Bled, but this joyful time brought her a sense of loneliness.
Sl: Suzana, njena dobra prijateljica, jo je prepričala, naj pride na sejem.
En: Suzana, her good friend, persuaded her to come to the market.
Sl: "Morda boš našla nekaj posebnega ali pa kdo novega," ji je rekla z nasmehom.
En: "Maybe you'll find something special or meet someone new," she said with a smile.
Sl: Mateja ni bila prepričana, a za vsak slučaj je prišla.

Sl: "Mateja mu je pomagala pregledati stojnice, preizkusila sta nekaj predmetov, pogovarjala sta se o možnostih.
En: Mateja helped him look over the stalls; they tried out a few items and discussed the options.
Sl: Medtem je Jure Mateji pripovedoval o svoji mami in njunih božičnih tradicijah.
En: Meanwhile, Jure told Mateja about his mother and their Christmas traditions.
Sl: "Mislim, da bo tale lesena skleda idealna," je končno zaključil Jure.
