Published 8 months ago
Description
Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) stated that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Admiral Frank "Mitch" Bradley "did exactly as expected" during a controversial September 2 boat strike in the Caribbean because the two survivors were seen on video attempting to right their drug-laden vessel to "stay in the fight".
Following a classified briefing where lawmakers viewed video footage of the incident, Cotton, who is the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, offered a contrasting interpretation to that of Democratic lawmakers.
