"Followers" challenges us with the question: Who are we following? Jesus extends this invitation, "Follow Me" to each of us. Matthew 8:1 says, "great multitudes followed Him." Will we choose to follow Him too and live a lifestyle that shows we are His?
Even the most popular Mega Influencer in social media today will gradually age, diminish, and fade from public memory. Is there any influencer who lasts forever? Yes! Jesus! Jesus, the Good Shepherd, does not "lead from behind" but is out in front, calling us to follow Him. He laid down His life for us and rose again in power and glory. He now leads the way for each of us to triumph over the grave and to live forever.
