Story Transcript:
Cy: Yn Silicon Valley, y gaeaf hwnnw, roedd yn gyfnod pan oedd y strydoedd yn naddu o oleuadau Nadolig a siopau coffi yn llawn pobl ifanc yn trafod syniadau newydd.
En: In Silicon Valley, that winter, it was a time when the streets were carved with Christmas lights and coffee shops were full of young people discussing new ideas.
Cy: Ymhlith y torfeydd oedd Gareth, Rhian a Carys.
En: Among the crowds were Gareth, Rhian, and Carys.
Cy: Roedd Gareth yn siphyrdanwr meddalwedd o Gymru, wedi teithio i'r GWLADDAD TECHNO sydd ar frig ei henw tech.
En: Gareth was a software developer from Cymru, who had traveled to the TECH COUNTRY at the height of its tech fame.
Cy: Roedd ganddo ddymuniad clir: cyflwyno ei brosiect tech arloesol a sicrhau buddsoddiad i'w gychwynad.
En: He had a clear wish: to present his innovative tech project and secure investment for his startup.
Cy: Wrth edrych ar adeiladau moderneiddiedig a mawr y dyffryn, roedd teimladau Gareth yn cymysgu rhwng cyffro a nerfusrwydd.
En: While looking at the modern and grand buildings of the valley, Gareth's feelings mixed between excitement and nervousness.
Cy: Roedd wedi dysgu tipyn am y diwydiant, ond yr hyn oedd yn pwyso'n drwm oedd y teimlad o amheuaeth hunain.
En: He had learned quite a bit about the industry, but what weighed heavily on him was the feeling of self-doubt.
Cy: Er iddi wneud iddo ddeffro'n gynnar yn y bore, y dychymyg o sefyll o flaen cynulleidfa lawn oedd gwthio Gareth i siarad â Rhian.
En: Although it made him wake up early in the morning, the imagination of standing in front of a full audience pushed Gareth to talk to Rhian.
Cy: "Rhian, dw i'n poeni," meddai Gareth mewn llais diffwdan.
En: "Rhian, I'm worried," said Gareth in a hesitant voice.
Cy: "Mae 'na gymaint o gystadleuaeth yma, ac weithiau dw i'n teimlo nad oedd fy syniad yn ddigon da.
En: "There is so much competition here, and sometimes I feel that my idea isn't good enough."
Cy: "Edrychodd Rhian arno gydag empatheg.
En: Rhian looked at him empathetically.
Cy: "Gareth, cofia, dwyt ti ddim eisiau bod fel pawb arall.
En: "Gareth, remember, you don't want to be like everyone else.
Cy: Mae dy frwdfrydedd yn pefrio yn dy lais.
En: Your enthusiasm shines in your voice.
Cy: Rhaid i ti ddangos hynny i bawb.
En: You must show that to everyone."
Cy: "Gwnaeth Rhian Gareth deimlo'n gryfach.
En: Rhian made Gareth feel stronger.
Cy: Aeth ymlaen i gwrdd â Carys.
En: He went on to meet Carys.
Cy: Roedd Carys wedi bod yn cyflwyno am gyfnod hir, a dywedodd mai'r gamp pwysig oedd stori dda.
En: Carys had been presenting for a long time and said the important skill was a good story.
Cy: Roedd hi'n annog Gareth i gyfuno hanes personol i wneud ei gyflwyniad yn gofiadwy.
En: She encouraged Gareth to incorporate personal stories to make his presentation memorable.
Cy: Daeth y diwrnod mawr.
En: The big day arrived.
Cy: Roedd y neuadd cynhadledd yn orlawn, cyffro'n llenwi'r awyr.
En: The conference hall was packed, excitement filling the air.
Cy: Gareth ddechreuodd ei gyflwyniad ond cyn hir, tostodd y dechnoleg.
En: Gareth began his presentation, but soon, the technology failed.
Cy: Cyflawnai'n sydyn, teimlodd yr ofn enwog ond cofiodd syddaradau Carys.
En: Suddenly, he felt the famous fear but remembered Carys's advice.
