Colts QB's Custom 3D Printed Pad: Injury Protection

Colts QB's Custom 3D Printed Pad: Injury Protection

Colts quarterback Daniel Jones, sidelined with a fractured fibula, has found an innovative solution: a custom 3D printed pad designed by his former Duke University teammates, Clark Bulleit and Kevin Gehsmann. Their company, Protect Three-D, specializes in creating custom braces and orthotics, and theyve developed a low-profile pad that fits Jones perfectly. This isnt the first time theyve helped him, having created a protective pad for his collarbone injury in 2018. The design process for the latest pad took just 90 minutes, and Jones received it less than two days later, ready to play against the Chiefs. Hes committed to being in the best spot for his team, and will rely on his custom-made protection to perform against the Jaguars this Sunday.
