True Royalty Original: King Charles Planning for the Future
Description
Following King Charles III’s 77th birthday, this True Royalty Original delves into the plans the King is making for the future. Despite his cancer diagnosis nearly two years ago, King Charles has been busier than ever, travelling to Poland, Canada, Italy, and the Vatican, and making history by praying with Pope Leo XIV in the Sistine Chapel—the first public prayer between a British monarch and a pope in 500 years.
Host Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is joined by Russell Myers, Royal Editor at the Daily Mirror, and Katie Nicholl, Royal Correspondent for Vanity Fair, to provide expert insights on how the King has used his illness to connect with fellow cancer patients and how he may be remembered 100 years from now.
