In breaking US-Canada news, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to meet with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and US President Donald Trump tomorrow, alongside FIFA proceedings. Personally, I think Prime Minister Carney has realized we need to forget about factoring Trump and the United States into any of Canada’s trade decisions. One reason being that CUSMA’s days are likely numbered.
All of this is happening as high-stakes hearings are occurring in Washington, wherein industry leaders across the United States are presenting their cases for extending the CUSMA trade deal. Let’s talk about this unfolding Canada-US politics news story!
