The Binding of Isaac is a strange story in the Bible. Why would God tell Abraham to offer his own son? How can a man's sacrifice be so great for God? Is this trust expected of us all? This story is a parallel containing the deepest revelations of the gospel: There is nothing we can offer God, that He hasn't gifted us first. So what will your response be to His offering?
