Cy: Mae goleuadau Nadolig yn pefrio'n fflachlyd yn ystafell aros llawn pobl brysur.
En: The Christmas lights flash brightly in a waiting room full of busy people.

Cy: Mae Eira yn eistedd ar gadair galed, ei breichiau wedi'u croesi'n dynn o'i blaen.
En: Eira sits on a hard chair, her arms crossed tightly in front of her.

Cy: Mae golwg wyliadwrus yn ei llygaid wrth iddi edrych ar draws yr ystafell, yn dilyn symudiadau pob nyrs a meddyg.
En: There's a watchful look in her eyes as she watches across the room, following the movements of every nurse and doctor.

Cy: Gareth, nyrs pedrus gyda chalon tymor y Nadolig, sy'n rhedeg heibio.
En: Gareth, a skilled nurse with a Christmas spirit, rushes by.

Cy: Er bod cwsg yn brin, mae'n gwisgo het Nadolig goch uchel.
En: Even though sleep is scarce, he's wearing a tall red Christmas hat.

Cy: Mae'n chwilboeth, ond mae hyd yn oed cesair y geiriau yng ngog y cornel yn methu gyda'i grym.
En: He feels frantic, but even the faintest murmur in the corner can't resist his energy.

Cy: "Dw i'n gwybod it's Christmas," meddai wrth ei hun, "ond mae'r teulu yma'n aros am newyddion.
En: "I know it's Christmas," he mutters to himself, "but this family is waiting for news."

Cy: "Eira'n sefyll.
En: Eira stands.

Cy: Mae hi'n anesmwyth, yn teimlo cryn dipyn o dicter a phryder.
En: She feels uneasy, a mix of anger and anxiety.

Cy: "Gareth," mae hi'n galw, "dywedwch wrtha i am fy mrawd.
En: "Gareth," she calls out, "tell me about my brother."

Cy: "Mae Gareth yn arafu, yn troi'n nol a dod at Eira.
En: Gareth slows down, turns back, and approaches Eira.

Cy: Mae ei lygaid yn gwrtais, ond mae blinder yn amlwg yn ei wyneb.
En: His eyes are courteous, but weariness is evident on his face.

Cy: "Eira," meddai'n dawel, "mae'n brysur iawn yma.
En: "Eira," he says quietly, "it's very busy here.

Cy: Mae'n anodd cael y newyddion ar unwaith.
En: It's difficult to get the news right away."

Cy: "Mae llygaid Eira'n llenwi ag wylofain heb ddeffro.
En: Eira's eyes fill with tears without breaking.

Cy: "Rhowch y newyddion i mi, os gwelwch yn dda," mae hi'n erfyn arno.
En: "Please give me the news," she pleads with him.

Cy: Mae parabl pobl yn crymbl.
En: The chatter of people crumbles.

Cy: Yn sydyn, clust nyrs arall yn cyfeirio at Gareth.
En: Suddenly, another nurse gestures to Gareth.

Cy: Mae'r nyrs ar y llinell ffon a'r enw ar y papur yw enw brawd Eira.
En: The nurse is on the phone line, and the name on the paper is Eira's brother's name.

Cy: Wrth bassio'r wybodaeth, mae Gareth yn anadlu'n ddwfn.
En: As he relays the information, Gareth takes a deep breath.

Cy: Mae'n symud yn nes at Eira, yn osgoi'r brys o'i gwmpas.
En: He moves closer to Eira, avoiding the rush around him.

Cy: "Eira," meddai Gareth, "mae dy frawd yn sefydlog.
En: "Eira," says Gareth, "your brother is stable.

Cy: Bydd yn iawn.
En: He will be okay.

Cy: Mae wedi bod yn anodd, ond mae'n ffodus.
En: It's been difficult, but he's lucky."

Cy: "Mae llifog riant tawelu drwy ganol Eira.
En: A quiet relief flows through Eira.

Cy: "Diolch," mae hi'n dweud yn dawel, ei llais yn crynu â rhyddhad a diolchgarwch.
En: "Thank you," she says softly, her voice trembling with relief and gratitude.

Cy: "Dw i'n gw
