#212 Ethan Shuley - From Leaving BYU's Team & Quitting Running to 2:11 Marathoner Living in Japan
Description
On this episode, the boys had on special guest Ethan Shuley! Ethan is a native of Kentucky and actually crossed paths with Chris in high school briefly! Ethan was a multiple-time state champion in cross-country and track in KY before running at BYU.
After dealing with constant injury at BYU, Ethan left the team after one year and for the most part, quit running entirely. After graduating, he moved to Japan and started to pick up running again.
He quickly realized that when he is able to stay healthy, he can get in very good shape very quickly. So good in fact, that he just ran 2:11 for 2nd place at the Kobe Marathon in Japan! FYI - his half split was 1:03:30 in that race.... WHAT!
We can't wait to see Ethan's continued progression.
