Gardner's Calf Injury Update: Hope for Colts Fans
Indianapolis Colts All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner, who suffered a left calf injury, is showing signs of recovery. After initially needing assistance to walk, he participated in a casual game of mini-basketball in the locker room. Although hes likely to miss some time, Colts head coach Shane Steichen hasnt ruled him out for Sundays game against Jacksonville. Gardner believes its merely a strain, and the team is optimistic about his return. However, the defense will still be without All-Pro defensive tackle DeForest Buckner for at least another week due to a neck injury.
