Ro: Radu deschise ochii încet și se uită la tavanul alb al camerei de spital.
En: Radu slowly opened his eyes and looked at the white ceiling of the hospital room.
Ro: Liniștea era profundă, întreruptă doar de sunetul slab al ceasului de pe noptieră.
En: The silence was profound, interrupted only by the faint ticking of the clock on the nightstand.
Ro: Era dimineața de 6 decembrie, sărbătoarea Sfântului Nicolae, dar el era singur în locul acela rece și steril.
En: It was the morning of December 6th, Sfântul Nicolae's Day, but he was alone in that cold and sterile place.
Ro: O fereastră mică lăsa să pătrundă o rază de lumină albăstruie.
