Story Transcript:

Sl: Maja je stala ob Blejskem jezeru.
En: Maja stood by Bled Lake.

Sl: Uživala je v pogledu na zasnežene gore in zamrznjeno jezero, kjer so otroci drsali.
En: She was enjoying the view of the snow-covered mountains and the frozen lake, where children were skating.

En: The cold air cut her face, but the smell of fresh snow and distant Christmas carols soothed her.

En: It was winter, and the festive spirit was felt everywhere.

Sl: A njene misli so bile drugje.
En: But her thoughts were elsewhere.

En: Ahead of her was an important task: the final presentation of the school project.

Sl: Skupaj s prijateljema, Tomažem in Ano, je Maja pripravljala projekt o zgodovini Blejskega gradu.
En: Together with her friends, Tomaž and Ana, Maja was preparing a project on the history of Bled Castle.

Sl: Maja je želela odlično opraviti svoje delo, a strah pred javnim nastopom jo je tesnobno grizel.
En: Maja wanted to do her work excellently, but the fear of public speaking gnawed at her anxiously.

Sl: Ko so vadili predstavitev, je Maja tresla.
En: When they practiced the presentation, Maja trembled.

Sl: Besede so se ji zapletale in komaj je našla svoj glas.
En: The words tangled, and she barely found her voice.

En: Every attempt felt unsuccessful to her, her heart pounded, and the fear of disappointing the team weighed on her shoulders.

Sl: Ana in Tomaž sta opazila njeno stisko.
En: Ana and Tomaž noticed her distress.

Sl: "Pomagali bomo," je rekel Tomaž.
En: "We will help," said Tomaž.

Sl: "Vadimo skupaj," je dodala Ana.
En: "Let's practice together," added Ana.

Sl: Vsak večer so sedeli v knjižnici in ponavljali.
En: Every evening, they sat in the library and repeated.

Sl: Maja je brala svoj del znova in znova.
En: Maja read her part over and over again.

Sl: Ana in Tomaž sta ji potrpežljivo pomagala popraviti napake.
En: Ana and Tomaž patiently helped her correct mistakes.

Sl: "Saj bo," jo je vedno znova prepričevala Ana.
En: "It will be alright," Ana repeatedly assured her.

Sl: Dnevi so minevali, in končno je prišel dan predstavitve.
En: Days passed, and finally, the day of the presentation arrived.

Sl: V šolski dvorani so se zbrali učenci in učitelji.
En: In the school hall, students and teachers gathered.

Sl: Maja je stala pred njimi.
En: Maja stood in front of them.

Sl: Počutila se je majhno in ranljivo.
En: She felt small and vulnerable.

Sl: A ko je pogledala proti Ani, je videla njen nasmeh in tiho vzpodbudno kimalo.
En: But when she looked towards Ana, she saw her smile and silent encouraging nod.

Sl: Tomaž se ji je nasmehnil in stisnil palec navzgor.
En: Tomaž smiled at her and gave a thumbs-up.

Sl: Maja je globoko vdihnila in začela.
En: Maja took a deep breath and began.

En: At first, she trembled, but then the words started to flow smo
