Ro: Transfăgărășanul se întindea magnific printre Munții Carpați, acoperit de un voal subțire de zăpadă proaspătă.
En: The Transfăgărășan stretched magnificently through the Carpathian Mountains, covered by a thin veil of fresh snow.
Ro: Frunzele ruginii încă rezistau pe crengile copacilor, dar vântul rece începea să le pună la pământ.

En: As they climbed higher up the road, the wind intensified, and the snowfall descended like a thick shroud.
