Sl: Pod belim plaščem snega jezerska površina Bleda zrcali sivino nebo, medtem ko jutranja megla objema otoško cerkev.
En: Under the white blanket of snow, the surface of Lake Bled reflects the grayness of the sky, while the morning mist embraces the island church.

Sl: Sveti Miklavž je tu in festival je v polnem zamahu.
En: Saint Miklavž is here and the festival is in full swing.

Sl: Ljudje prihajajo iz vseh koncev sveta, a zares legende o starodavnem artefaktu poznajo le domačini.
En: People are coming from all corners of the world, but truly, the legends about the ancient artifact are known only to the locals.

Sl: Matjaž, strasten zgodovinar in ljubitelj ljudskih pripovedk, stoji ob obali.
En: Matjaž, a passionate historian and lover of folktales, stands by the shore.

Sl: Skrbi ga, kaj se je zgodilo z artefaktom, ki je izginil že prvo noč festivala.
En: He is worried about what happened to the artifact, which disappeared on the first night of the festival.

Sl: Skulptura, ki so jo mnogi imeli za mit, naj bi imela moč prebuditi naravne sile.

Sl: "Ali je zares izginil?
En: "Has it really disappeared?"

Sl: " ga vpraša Ana, njegova prijateljica.
En: asks Ana, his friend.

Sl: "Pravijo, da je vse to samo bajka.
En: "They say it's all just a fairy tale."

Sl: "Gregor, tamkajšnji policist, ki se gostom nasmehne, ga povpraša: "Matjaž, pa saj tega ne verjameš, kajne?
En: Gregor, a local policeman who smiles at the guests, asks him, "Matjaž, you don't believe this, do you?

Sl: Kdo bi vzel mit?
En: Who would take a myth?"

Sl: "Matjaž se odloči.
En: Matjaž decides.

Sl: "Nič ne rečem.
En: "I won't say anything.

Sl: Čas je, da poiščem odgovore.
En: It's time to find answers.

Sl: Moram slediti zgodbam, ki jih pripovedujejo iz roda v rod," pravi odločno.
En: I must follow the stories that have been told from generation to generation," he says decisively.

Sl: V noči zapušča festival in začne raziskovati starodavne tekstove v mestni knjižnici.
En: At night, he leaves the festival and begins researching ancient texts in the town library.

Sl: V njih najde pot namige do skrivne lokacije.
En: Within them, he finds hints to a secret location.

Sl: "Jama pod jezerom," si mrmra, ko bere vrste starega zapisa.

Sl: Naslednji dan ga Ana spremlja do vhoda v jamo.
En: The next day, Ana accompanies him to the entrance of the cave.
