Craig Elsten was joined by Tony Sanchez live at Snapdragon Stadium shortly after the Vancouver Whitecaps advanced past SDFC 3-1 in the MLS Western Conference Final. The young San Diego defense conceded twice early, and a third goal before half all-but-sealed their fate. Chucky Lozano's second-half goal gave a sellout crowd hope and also gave fuel to media questions about his future with the team.
