Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Karl “Gus” Gustavson retired from the US military in 2024 after 22 years of active-duty service in the Special Operations community, including five years at SDV Team Two and 15 years at Naval Special Warfare Development  Group.

During his career, Gus was awarded various combat commendations including three Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, the Purple Heart Medal, 5 Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat valor, 3 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medals, three Presidential Unit Citations and other joint and individual awards.

Following his time in service, Gus founded Lōgos Leadership and Team Building LLC, to work with various leadership teams and pass along the lessons he learned during his career in Naval Special Warfare. Gus also actively consults with various non-profit organizations helping military veterans and their families including, Boot Campaign, All Secure Foundation, Beyond the Brotherhood, Special Operations Survivors, and others.
