Sk: V Bratislave začala zima, hoci jeseň ešte dýchala svojimi studenými dychmi.
En: In Bratislava, winter had begun, though autumn was still breathing its cold breaths.
Sk: Ulice mesta sa pomaly menili.
En: The streets of the city were slowly changing.
Sk: Svetielká rôznych tvarov a farieb sa trblietali v korunách starých stromov.
En: Lights of various shapes and colors glittered in the crowns of old trees.
Sk: Všade vo vzduchu viseli vône horúcich gaštanov a vareného vína.
En: Everywhere, the air was filled with the scent of hot chestnuts and mulled wine.

En: "I'm glad you came," said Lenka with a laugh. "It's a wonderful time for meeting new people."
