Ja: 清水寺の境内は、秋の深まりを告げる紅や黄金の葉で彩られていた。
En: The grounds of Kiyomizu-dera were adorned with red and golden leaves signaling the deepening of autumn.

Ja: この美しい景色の中、「除夜の鐘」の準備が進む。
En: Amidst this beautiful scenery, preparations for the "Joya no Kane" were underway.

Ja: 人々は旧年の厄を払い、新しい年を迎えることを心待ちにしている。
En: People were eagerly awaiting the new year, hoping to cast away the misfortunes of the past year.
