Hr: U jesenje poslijepodne, sunce je obasjavalo stare rimske ruševine u Puli.
En: On a fall afternoon, the sun was shining over the ancient Roman ruins in Pula.

Hr: Te ruševine bile su svjedoci mnogih priča iz prošlosti.
En: These ruins had witnessed many stories from the past.

Hr: Sada su trebale biti svjedokom jednog obiteljskog ponovnog susreta.
En: Now, they were about to witness a family reunion.

Hr: Nikola je hodao među stupovima, prisjećajući se djetinjstva.
En: Nikola walked among the pillars, reminiscing about his childhood.

Hr: Bio je najstariji od troje braće i sestre.
En: He was the oldest of three siblings.

Hr: Osjećao je odgovornost za obitelj.
