This year’s Thanksgiving dinner cost dropped to an average of $55.18 for a family of 10, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation. Turkey prices fell sharply, but many popular side dishes — including sweet potatoes, vegetable trays and frozen peas — climbed significantly. Regional data shows costs ranging from $50.01 in the South to $61.75 in the West.
