When I sat down with Stacy Cleveland from Vision House recently, I expected practical answers about homelessness—lists of needs, ways to donate, or volunteer opportunities. Instead, she spoke first about isolation, and the power of simply being present with those who feel unseen. Jesus reminds us in Luke 16 that true wealth isn’t measured by what we keep, but by how we see and care for our neighbor, inviting us into a kingdom where compassion is the currency of heaven.
