Story Transcript:

En: Rain fell in large drops, drumming on the ancient stones of the amphitheater in Pula.

En: Lightning occasionally illuminated the enormous structure, creating dramatic shadows.

En: Luka stood under an umbrella, his expression revealing an internal struggle.

En: Ivana, his older sister, was already there, waiting for him under the crumbling arch.

En: Her smile was gentle, but there was determination in her eyes to mediate in this tense meeting.

En: Marin, the youngest of the three, nervously fiddled with a key hanging around his neck, feeling like a delicate thread between them.

En: "Luka, I'm glad you came," Ivana began, raising her voice above the rumbling thunder.

En: "Yes, I should have come," replied Luka, but his voice carried the weight of past disagreements.

Hr: Treperava munja otkrila je svu starinu kamenja okolo njih.
En: Flickering lightning revealed the full antiquity of the stones around them.

En: Smiling despite the storm, Ivana continued, "You know, the amphitheater has gone through many storms, but it still stands.

Hr: Mislim da bismo i mi trebali.
En: I think we should too."

En: This moment made Luka recall how much they had already survived together as a family.

En: But this dispute over the inheritance had divided their bond.

Hr: „Znam da sam bio tvrdoglav,“ reče Luka napokon, slušajući vlastite riječi uz zvuk kiše.
En: "I know I've been stubborn," Luka finally said, listening to his own words amid the sound of rain.

Hr: „Ali osjećao sam se izigranim.
En: "But I felt betrayed."

Hr: “Marin, osjetivši priliku, dodao je: „Luka, razumijemo.
En: Marin, sensing the opportunity, added, "Luka, we understand.

Hr: Svi smo postali previše fokusirani na detalje.
En: We've all become too focused on the details.

En: What we really want is to have that feeling of family again."

Hr: “Ivana je klimnula glavom, dok su njezine oči zatitrale iza zida suza: „Svi činimo greške.
En: Ivana nodded, her eyes shimmering behind a wall of tears: "We all make mistakes.

Hr: Možemo li ponovno početi?
En: Can we start over?"

Hr: “Luka je zastao, osjetivši kako mu srce omekšava poput tla ispod kiše.
En: Luka paused, feeling his heart s
