Annie Polland, president of the Tenement Museum, and Clint Smith, staff writer at The Atlantic, poet and the author of several books, including the forthcoming young readers edition of How the Word is Passed: Remembering Slavery and How It Shaped America (Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, 2025), share what they're teaching the teachers, and teachers call in to talk about their experiences teaching history during this fraught time.
