Prescott Issues Update on Watson Lake Project

The City of Prescott has continued its efforts to enhance the long-term health and water quality of Watson Lake through an ongoing improvement project that began on November 17–21, 2025. As part of this initiative, crews conducted targeted water-quality treatments to improve water clarity, reduce organic material, and address aquatic weeds and algae. City staff, working closely with an environmental consultant, made significant progress last week, completing the majority of the planned treatment ahead of incoming storms.
