Lt: Aistė atsistojo ant sniego, žengė pirmą žingsnį į Arkties tundrą.
En: Aistė stood on the snow, taking the first step into the Arctic tundra.

Lt: Vėjas švilpė aplink jos ausis kaip sena melodija.
En: The wind whistled around her ears like an old melody.

Lt: Balta platybė jai atrodė kaip paslaptingas stebuklų pasaulis.
En: The white expanse seemed to her like a mysterious world of wonders.

Lt: Prie jos priėjo kolegos Eimantas ir Jurgis, abu apsirengę šiltomis striukėmis, apsaugoti nuo šaltkrėčio.
