It may come as a surprise (or not) but the best time to have your chimney cleaned is during the summer when your favorite chimney sweep is usually sitting around twiddling thumbs. After the first taste of fall air hits, they become so busy that you would be lucky to get in before the burning season is over. In this episode of Fix It 101, we talk with Heather Perkins from Santa's Friend Chimeny Service about this busy season and some of the common problems she sees with home chimneys.
