What James Horcasitas saw when he visited Prescott Frontier Days® -- World’s Oldest Rodeo®, was sold-out crowds, wild livestock, happy contestants, helpful volunteers, and adequate parking. As president of the Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo (of which PFD is a member), Horcasitas wanted to recognize the wonderful people who created such an event: the rodeo committees. The Circuit Rodeo of the Year Award is given to rodeo committees that are recognized for excellence within their specific circuits by rodeo organizations like the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women's Professional Rodeo Association.
